Combine strategic vision and technical mastery on each project
These combined walls (combi-walls) are made of sheet piles and caissons, and their support system relies on permanent rock anchors. The nature of the soil, composed of highly competent rock, required the use of advanced techniques, including cluster drilling.
A job done according to the rules of the art
To construct the combined walls, we installed 36 60-inch diameter caisson piles, reaching depths of up to 85 feet, with a socket in the Canadian Shield rock, totaling nearly 2,500 feet of drilling. In addition, more than 4,500 linear feet of sheet piling were installed to ensure effective support. Finally, 18 double-corrosion-protected rock anchors were drilled and tensioned, reaching depths ranging from 100 to 120 feet.
Thanks to our expertise in support work and anchors, we have contributed to the protection and sustainability of this essential infrastructure.
