These vessels not only increase crossing speeds, but also increase passenger and vehicle boarding capacity. The initiative aims to address the growing passenger traffic on the ferry service, while reducing the risk of incidents near the Tadoussac and Baie-Sainte-Catherine crossing areas.
A job done according to the rules of the art
To ensure the stability and durability of this maritime structure, four 36-inch caisson piles were embedded in the granite with rock anchors, thus guaranteeing a robust and reliable foundation for the ferries.
